We have a C-47 that participated in D-Day at work today. It is a lovely aircraft and it is great to see it in its invasion stripes. Cheers to everyone who fought fascism and those who continue to do so.

Surprised it didn’t fly over for the ceremonies. I think there were 30+ that crossed the Atlantic this year to take part.

They’re such beautiful and historic airplanes. Great to see them still kept airworthy.

Always a bunch of them at Oshkosh- including “That’s All Brother” the last two years.

I heard that they had a maintenance issue and that delayed them.
